Other Health Impairment (OHI) Information
for Parents & Teachers
Students who meet eligibility for OHI have health impairments that are not temporary in nature. These impairments adversely affect a student's educational performance, such that special education services are required to meet his/her needs (California Department of Education: Section 3030(f), Title 5, CCR).
